The CXR Foundation is pleased to announce the expansion of its scholarships designed to support families and individuals in the talent acquisition industry.
“We are thrilled to add the new Russ Mountain Memorial Scholarship to the CXR Foundation’s annual Scholarship offerings,” notes CXR Foundation President, Chris Hoyt. “Our two scholarship funds raised over $15,000 this year and we are excited about the impact that can make in the lives of our recipients.”
The 2024 CXR Foundation Scholarship winners are:
- Receiving the INSPIRE Scholarship: Ysolina Hartzell, a senior at Florida Atlantic University planning to continue her career in Industrial Psychology with a focus on workplace wellness.
- Receiving the Russ Mountain Memorial Scholarship: Alayna Bunch, a junior at the University of Kentucky planning to start her career as a recruiter. She’ll get a chance to learn more about that career with her internship this summer at Rowland Mountain & Associates.
Nearly 300 total applications were received this year and all were personally reviewed with 15 finalists going through an interview process. “This is the fourth year the CXR Foundation has been able to award scholarships,” adds CXR Foundation Scholarship Committee Chair Barb Ruess. “Each year we are blown away by the candidates and their journeys.” Tune into the CXR Recruiting Community Podcast on April 30th and May 14th to meet each of this year’s winners.
