As 2023 unfolded, the CXR Foundation set new benchmarks in our mission to reshape the talent acquisition landscape. Spearheaded by a passionate Board of Directors, including President and Treasurer @Chris Hoyt (he/him), Vice President @Gerry Crispin, Secretary @Barb Ruess, and At Large members, @Brad Cook, @Ryan Cook, @Curtis Dorsey, @Chris Havrilla (She/Her), @Carmen Hudson, @Celeste Luzadder, @Nakia McKenzie, @Sheila Stygar, and @Steve White the Foundation saw unprecedented growth and impact.
With a vision centered on empowering every recruiter to reach their full potential, we've made significant strides. Our 2023 fundraising exceeded expectations, gathering over $33,810, a testament to the belief in our mission. These funds are crucial, enabling us to expand scholarship opportunities and enhance our support for the recruiting industry.
Our programs, from the CXR Inspire Scholarship to the Russ Mountain Scholarship and the TA Talk Tank Mentorship Program, (a complete list of programs and committees are listed in the downloadable report) are designed to foster a culture of continuous improvement and support. Additionally, our dedication to documenting the history of recruiting reflects our commitment to honoring the profession's past while paving the way for its future.
As we move into 2024, the CXR Foundation is poised to build on these accomplishments, driven by our commitment to professional development, ethical standards, and industry advancement. We're grateful for the unwavering support from our community, and we're excited to continue making a difference in the lives of talent acquisition professionals worldwide.
