CXR Foundation Public Documents

The CXR Foundation Baseline Standard for Applicant Closure defines minimum requirements for notifying applicants at every stage of the hiring process when they are no longer under consideration for a role. Developed by the CXR Foundation Standards Committee, this standard addresses notification obligation, timing, communication methods, required content, prohibited practices, and recordkeeping. It applies to employers of any size, RPO providers, staffing agencies, and third-party placement organizations. Organizations that agree with its principles are invited to publicly declare their support online.
