The CXR Foundation Baseline Standard for Applicant Closure defines minimum requirements for notifying applicants at every stage of the hiring process when they are no longer under consideration for a role. Developed by the CXR Foundation Standards Committee, this standard addresses notification obligation, timing, communication methods, required content, prohibited practices, and recordkeeping. It applies to employers of any size, RPO providers, staffing agencies, and third-party placement organizations. Organizations that agree with its principles are invited to publicly declare their support online.
I fully support this! A coworker shared this site with me, https://didtheyghostyou.com/leaderboards/ghosting, so naturally I shared this standard baseline being formed and supported by CXR. It's sad that site exists but companies that size with a large volume of candidatea cannot personality dispo everyone. Hence reliance on tech- which needs to get better.
Also, navigating email reputation and spam filters with ATS/CRM technology was the death of me at Sodexo. So I feel for these employers!
